William Taylor Gibson
William Taylor Gibson (Bill) of Vista, CA passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 69.
He was born on July 30, 1952 to Alene Howard and Felix Gibson Sr. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
After graduating from Frankfort Senior High School, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam era. After being honorably discharged, he moved from Indiana to Los Angeles, California.
He worked for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier, then Boeing, as a aircraft structural assembler. After Boeing relocated his division to Seattle, he moved to Vista, California. He continued his working career as the Warehouse/Facilities Manager at Accutech until his retirement.
William is survived by his wife Sheila Gibson, daughters Jasmine, Destiny and Ericka, son Marcello, eight grand children Kyle, Meadoe, Anthony, Amare, Avery, Christian, Mekhi and Myah, son in laws both named Tony, daughter in law Kristina, uncles Charles and Leon, aunts Janice and Sadia.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Alhiser Comer Mortuary, 225 S Broadway, in Escondido, CA 92025 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm.
