Condolence From: Mehreen
Condolence: Haziq Jamil was my cousin. I dont know how I can put my feelings into words. I had seen him since he was born and growing up till he left Pakistan. We were not close enough as cousins should be. He was always quite and aloof. He preferred spending time with his brother more than anything. Atleast that made us happy that he had a confidante for life.
After all those years he contacted me first time through email few months before his death. He told me so much about his life and himself, I finally thought I found my brother again. We used to share so much. I always felt lighter telling him about my issues and I knew he had alot to share with me too. What bothers me most being his eldest cousin I could have done so much for him had I been there. I wouldn't have let him left us like this. He was extremely nice and well-mannered chap, though being his older cousin I used to scold him even beat a little to discipline him as a child. But he never said a word, never talked back to me. I so wish if I could talk to him again, I lost my only support, my friend my brother.
If only if he had stayed long enough, I wanted to send him his childhood pics but I always forgot sending him and then I heard he was gone. If only he stayed long enough to listen.
My brother you came to your sister very late, I wish I could have done something for you but I couldn't and didn't.
Haziq if you are listening please forgive your baji for not helping you. For not understanding your pain. For scolding you as a child. Please forgive you sister she is alone without you.

Condolence: I was lucky enough to have the privilege of meeting Haziq while attending the California Maritime Academy. We became good friends over the course of the four years we attended - especially in the latter years. Haziq had such positive energy, and he was truly a joy to be around. I will always treasure the good times we shared. He will be greatly missed... God bless Haziq and the Jamil family. Haziq will remain a part of my daily prayers for the rest of my life.

Condolence From: Hasaan Punjwani
Condolence: Dear Parents of Haziq,

First off the Punjwani family would like to give our condolences and know that our prayers are with you.

My name is Hasaan Punjwani and I was Haziq's classmate at PAF chapter city school till 4th grade. I moved away to the states in 5th grade which is when me and Haziq lost contact from each other, but not before the great memories he and I had. What I remember most about Haziq was that he was really intelligent. I remember him always coming top in our class, helping me out in school as he did with our other classmates as well, which showed how great of a person he would become to be. I have read some of the messages his friends have wrote and it shows that he left a huge impact in everyone's life. The time he and I spent together were awesome and he was such a great friend and human being.

Once again we are deeply sorry for your loss and will be praying for him. Allah definitely gained an angel up there.

Best Regards,

Punjwani family
