My Queen

My Queen

At 9 o’clock they will come

Again at 4 they will come for me

Taken all the good stuffs, she said

Nothing left I’m going to my Father’s home.

Took me to school at five, she said

Listen to the teacher, learn and respect

Took me to church at six, she said

Listen to God, love and devote

Took me to the priest at ten, she said

Listen to his preaching, obey and follow.

Went to school, attended church I did

Learning all the good, doing most of the bad

Ditching classes exploring hills and mountains

Skipping masses chasing waterfalls and crushes

Hearing God’s whisper ignoring his calling

Finding puppy love, feeling overwhelming.

At 9 she whipped

Again at 4 she cried for me

Stomach crunched spirit crushed

Tears of hope she prayed to the Father.

Took me to America at sixteen, she said

Observe and look for all opportunities

Sent me to college at nineteen, she said

Study hard stay focus get educated

Took her to my graduation at 24, she said

Experience life, explore all possibilities.

Went to colleges, obtained degrees I did

Mastering all the good, practicing most of the bad

Missing classes crashing parties switching majors

Gambling with the masses, trading with the asses

Losing a great fortune, depressing bipolarity

Jetting around the world, feeling overwhelming.

At 9 she sold a house

Again at 4 she bailed me out

Stomach crunched spirit crushed

Tears of hope she prayed to the Father.

Took her to Maui at 26, she said

Sunny weather warm sand clear water

Took her to Oahu at 32, she said

You, me, here the ocean I’m happy as ever

Sent her postcards from around the globe at 33, she said

Stop, listen and pay attention.

Went backpacking, traveling across Europe I did

Observing different cultures, habituating bad behaviors

London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona

Foie Gras, Caviar, Champagne, Cognac, Whiskey

Red light districts hot headed cold sweaty vices

Nine months in oblivion, feeling overwhelming.

At 9 sold second house

Again at 4 she bailed me out

Stomach crunched spirit crushed

Tears of hope she prayed to the Father.

Took her to Waikiki at 35, she said

Warm weather soft sand nice water

Took her again to Hawaii at 37, she said

You, me, here the ocean I’m happy as ever

Took her back to her home town at 40, she said

Breathe, smell, remember this last trip forever.

Left her at home in September, she said

"Go in peace and keep God's words"

Left her alone in October, she said

"Stop, stay home and take me to church”

Left her alone to go to work, she asked

“Why Now? You ever worked? You never did?”

Circled the globe worked the clock I did

Running away in her time of need

Making excuses, buying up all the juices

Sneaking out, breaking in with all the vices

My mother, my queen in my dream

Screaming my name, feeling overwhelming.

At 9 left me last house

Again at 4 gave me all her fortune

Stomach crunched spirit crushed

Tears of hope she prayed to the Father.

Told her I’d leave last night, she said

“Stay home, sleep in your room tonight"

Told her I had to work, she said

"That’s all I ask. I only want you to stay"

Told her I would stay, she said

"You, me, here that’s enough I’m happiest ever. ”

At 9 o'clock they will come

Again at 4 they will come for me

Taken all the good stuffs, she said

Nothing left I’m going to my Father’s home.

My mother, my queen she gave me life

Humbling herself giving all her love

My mother, my queen she breathed me desire

To love God and love all others

My mother, my queen she proved it right

Tears falling down never running up.

At 9 o'clock they will come

Again at 4 they will come for me

Taken all the good stuffs, she said

Nothing left I’m going to my Father’s home.

My mother, my queen in her dying breath

Shouting my name pleading me home

My mother, my queen in her dying breath

Praying to God letting it go

My mother, my queen in her dying breath

Seeing the face of God letting me go.

At 9 o'clock they will come

Again at 4 they will come for me

Taken all the good stuffs, she said

Nothing left I’m going to my Father’s home.

My mother, my queen in her last breath

Praising the Lord following him Home.
